Tired of the same old pictures from last year's annual luncheon, and waiting for recent pictures from our members.
Members, please send me pictures from races or other events taken since, say, July Fourth. If you send them by email, please send them as attachments rather than in the body of the message, and preferably as jpeg files. You can also send prints that I'll scan to put in digital form.

Dr. Phil Pierce was the featured speaker. His talk was about how an active physical life with regular exercise, and especially running, can in fact prolong life and slow the aging processes, both physical and mental. His major point was that there are now scientific studies, not just anecdotal evidence to support these conclusions that runners have all along believed.
Jerry Panarese and Nancy Wilson, this year's recipient of the Rev. Joseph Shea Memorial Award, which is given to a Club member who has shown exceptional service to both the Club and the running community at large. Nancy has served the club in several capacities, most notably in recent years as a key member of Jerry's Run for All Ages race committee.
The three members inducted into the Club's Hall of Fame at the luncheon: from the left, Bob Randall, George Bisson and Harry Carter In addition to their trophies these runners also received plaques with their pictures like those in the Hall-of-Fame display at the Days Hotel in Methuen, formerly the Guesthouse Inn and Suites. See the Hall-of-Fame page on this site for more information about these exceptional runners.
