Rankings of Runners for Road Races

We have been apprised of a new website that provides a ranking service for runners who wish to know where they stand amongst fellow runners at various distances where the rankings are all age graded scores. You can see current rankings and find out about how to participate at this link: Younger Legs For Older Runners

Here is another site, the USA Track and Field site for Maters Rankings: USA Master's Track & Field Rankings

And yet another that Bill Spencer has recommended, http://www.active.com/rankings/

Renew USATF Membership as Member of New England 65 Plus Runners Club

The New England 65 Plus Running club is unique and we all should be proud to be members. What better way to show our pride than to race under the club's name. Several of us run for other clubs where we find it difficult to put together 70+ teams. I propose that for 2009 all of us 70 and over, put the NE 65+ Running Club (#65 in the 02 New England Association) as our USATF club when we rejoin the USATF. Remember we can only race in USATF for one club. Maine members that don't plan to do National USATF events should join the Maine Association enabling them to run in the Maine Grand Prix for the club. Bill Borla and I are planning on putting teams together for the Lake Winnipesaukee relay in September. If you would like to join us or have ideas on other team competitions let us know. There are a number of club members in Florida. Maybe they should form a Florida 65+ club chapter and race as such. The New England Association of USATF does not have a 70+ division, but I was told there would be one if we had a team. Those that have run on teams know the good feeling and camaraderie that results.
